Vantage Point Photos

Normal Eye View

Birds Eye View

Worms Eye View

Reflection
Both worms eye photos were my favorite. I enjoyed this vantage point the most because as humans we never look from this view. Also this is what made this vantage point the hardest to do. I feel like this vantage point had the most color mainly because you have the sun/sky in the background.

Composition Project

1. Simplify

2. Rule of lines

3. Symmetry/Asymmetry

4. Rule of Thirds

Reflection
This project was very eye opening, it changed my view on photography by showing me that it is more than just taking photos at random places and moments.  Obviously my favorite rule was rule of lines because my eye is drawn objects that show this rule. My 1st favorite photo is the one with the tree and the fog in the rule of lines category. I like this because you are able to see the fog in the background and the dark green tree and brown trunk make the picture look dreary.  My 2nd favorite photo was the one with the truck and open field that I did for the rule of thirds category. I really liked this one because the dark clouds make the green and yellow field pop out a bit more.  I also really like the cloud structure and the color change from grey to white to pink. My 3rd favorite photo is the one I took of Andy sitting on a bench that I took for the rule of thirds. Although Andy may seem like the main subject of the photo, it is supposed to be what he is looking at. To understand this project and successfully complete it I had to research a lot of rules and take many photos until I got the ones I wanted.

Inspirational Photography

                 Sean Heavy Photography

I chose Sean Heavy as my inspirational photographer because of the type of photography he does. Sean mostly does photos of the countryside in North Eastern Montana. I really like these photos because I have family who live in North Eastern Montana and I have seen some of the landmarks in his photos and have seen similar weather. Also the picture above got so much attention that Al Gore used it as his website background.
